The last 5-10% can be permanently finished off with Electrolysis resulting in 100% permanent hair removal. Laser Hair Removal is a technique that focuses an intense light beam directly on the skin in order to treat hairs simultaneously. The light is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair and is converted into heat. This is what destroys the cells responsible for hair growth. Laser Hair Removal works on phototypes 1-6 (white - brown/black) skin tones. It does not work on white hair, blonde hair, or red hair.
